Alisa Karwowski, an adoptive mother of two boys from Russia, and author of A Mother's Intimate Journey and Charlie's Day, created the online Russian Adoption Reference site, russianadoptionjourney.com. The site contains articles that Alisa has written including one that has been published in the Portsmouth Magazine. There is also a 'helpful hints' page that provides tips to adoptive families along the way. For families considering Russian adoptions, there are a lot of pictures of the orphanages to provide you with a visual.
