Many of you have asked about giving both donations and “in kind” gifts. Here is a way in which we believe your help will be the most beneficial to the orphan children and very meaningful for your family, too! We are calling this the “Birthday Blessing”.

This is how it works. Each time you celebrate that special time - your child’s birthday - it can be a special time for your child and your family to remember the orphan children in the country from which your child was adopted. What a special Birthday Blessing this will be for your child, each year, knowing that they have a part in the life of the child from their heritage. Your gift will be used in one of the following ways to benefit a child from the country you request:

1. Specific items needed in the care of orphan children, such as food, clothing, and medicines.
2. Orphanage equipment needed such as office supplies, washing machines, cleaning items, maintenance, screens for windows, hot water tanks, and furniture.
3. Grants and donations given for a special needs child to be adopted.
4. Financial assistance to help a child to be placed with a forever family when the family can not quite afford the total adoption expense.

Donation checks should be made out to New Hope Christian Services [501-C]. In return, your child will receive a special “thank you gift” each year that he/she can proudly display! What a great day to have your child’s day of birth become a day of blessing for an orphan child.
